About us · Strasbourg
VéloRouge is an independent Strasbourg business offering private guided walking tours and classic, electric and cargo bike rental. Operated by TourDeWheel SAS, our shop is a five-minute walk from the main station; our walks explore the cathedral, Petite France and the city’s history with your own guide.

Cathedral & Petite France walk on GetYourGuideVéloRouge has exclusive partnerships with Hotel Hannong and Hotel Rohan in Strasbourg. Guests can ask reception about our private guided walks and bike rentals. VéloRouge organises and confirms the services; the hotels do not operate the tours.

A family-run house for four generations: the Hannong faience of the 18th century is kept at the Palais Rohan, and the cabaret decorated by Sophie Taeuber-Arp is still here. By bike from the door: Petite France in 3 minutes, the cathedral in 5.

Rue du Maroquin, named after the shoemakers who worked there from 1266: now pedestrian, it reaches the cathedral in fifty metres. Thirty-five rooms, each one different, and Petite France 5 minutes away by bike.

The person behind VéloRouge
“I started VéloRouge to share the Strasbourg I love, at the pace of a bike or a slow walk. When you rent from us or walk with us, you deal with me and my small team, not a call centre.”

TourDeWheel SAS (VéloRouge) is reinventing urban mobility. VéloRouge is more than an electric bike: it is a circular-economy solution that empowers local communities, creates meaningful jobs and encourages sustainable, stylish mobility in Strasbourg and beyond.
Everything is handed over at the counter: a charged bike, an approved helmet, a lock and a route map. There is no fixed pickup time — you come when it suits you on the day you booked, and bring the bike back before we close.
We keep a workshop on site, so the bikes you rent are serviced by the same people who hand them to you. If something happens mid-ride, you call or message the shop directly and we sort it out.
Regular bike rentals remain self-guided, with mapped komoot routes for the canals, vineyards and Rhine. From 3 October 2026, we also create private guided daytime tours for groups on request, tailored to their theme and programme. Strasbourg by Night remains our guided Christmas-market evening ride from 27 November.
Book online in two minutes, then collect at the counter whenever suits you on the day.
